I am from Nashville, TN. If I wasn’t in Early Education, I would be an Interior Designer/Professional Organizer because I love helping to make things pretty. If I could have a superpower, it would be the touch of good (Like the boy in the Golden Child movie w/Eddie Murphy) because there is just too much hate in our world.

A lifelong Nashvillian and graduate of Tennessee State University and the University of Tennessee College of Law. Anton serves as Director of Mission Advancement for Rebuilding Together Nashville and is dedicated to housing affordability and preservation. His community involvement includes membership in Urban Land Institute’s Nashville chapter and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Anton’s focus strengthens our center’s mission to enrich North Nashville families.

I am from Nashville, TN (Northside). If I wasn’t a teacher I would be a stay-at-home mom/grandmother so I can take care of my grandchildren. If I could have a superpower, I would be a fly on the wall so I could see what’s going on in my home. I teach because that’s what I wanted to do, help children.

I grew up in North Carolina & have lived in Nashville for 47 years. If I were not a teacher, I would likely be an office worker. If I had a superpower it would be to spread love/compassion dust on individuals to spread more neighborliness to deprived places. I teach because I want to help children develop confidence and skills to live productively in a changing world.

If I could have a superpower it would be to make a million dollars a day because I love money (LOL). I teach because I really enjoy empowering and enriching our children and families in the community.

I have always wanted to be a teacher since 2nd grade. My teacher was awesome and I wanted to be like her. If I wasn’t a teacher, I would work in a corporate setting or have my own travel agency because I’ve done both. If I had a superpower, I would want to be able to become invisible. I would like to hear and see people without their “fakeness". I teach because it is my passion. I am a children’s advocate on all levels. I love the feeling you get when the light bulb comes on when the child has grasped the concept.
